As a Mission Hospice volunteer you will support our patients and their families through the dying process. Volunteer support takes many forms; reading to patients, running errands, and providing much needed friendly interaction in private residences and nursing homes.Our office is located in Pasadena, however our patients reside all over the Greater Los Angeles area, San Fernando Valley and San Gabriel Valley. You will be supporting hospice patients and their families convenient to the area you live in.We provide a training program to prepare you for hospice volunteering and to help you make the most of your volunteer experience.
