Are you passionate about parrots and have experience handling medium to large-sized birds? Our non-profit animal rescue is looking for dedicated and experienced parrot caretakers to volunteer and help us provide top-quality care and enrichment for our feathered residents!Duties Include:Cleaning cages and changing cage paperSweeping and mopping floorsFeeding and providing fresh waterOffering enrichment activities to keep our parrots happy and engagedProviding supervised out-of-cage socialization timeRequirements:Must be at least 18 years oldMust have prior experience handling parrotsMust be comfortable interacting with and handling large parrotsMust be able to commit to at least 8 hours per monthMust be willing to learnThis is a rewarding opportunity that will make a difference in the lives of rescued parrots while working alongside a team of like-minded animal lovers. We help them to overcome any trauma, medical or behavioral issues they may have prior to finding them a special forever home where they will be able to live their best life.
