Join Million Little in transforming lives and healing trauma through the power of creativity! This mission takes a collaborative effort, and we could not do it without our dedicated Volunteers. Event Volunteers join Million Little Facilitators in bringing art-making into the community.At Day of Creativity, artists of all ages join us for a free painting pop-up in the park! Dates are:August 9September 27October 11November 1Spanish-speaking bilingual volunteers are encouraged to applyAt ML's Day of Creativity, volunteers willSet up art supplies and prize table for 30-70 participantsWelcome children and families warmlySupport participants in accessing paint supplies to create their canvas creationsRefill water cups, clean brushes as neededEncourage young artists to create whatever is in their imagination!Manage prize table so all youth walk away with a giftstaff auxiliary areas (bubble machine, game stations, etc.) as neededPack up supplies at program siteWe can't wait to meet you!Private Group Details:Group Size Range: 1 - 10Event can be held at a volunteer group location (e.g. office, park)Event can be held at organization location(s)No Donation4 shifts available:Saturday August 09, 2025 - 09:00 to 13:00 PSTSaturday September 27, 2025 - 09:00 to 13:00 PSTSaturday October 11, 2025 - 09:00 to 13:00 PSTSaturday November 01, 2025 - 09:00 to 13:00 PST
About Million Little
We recruit throughout the year to support in our office and at our community events. Office volunteers support our staff and programs by helping prep materials and art samples, cleaning/organizing supplies and our office space, and assembling art-based giveaways for youth. Event volunteers support logistically and sometimes co-facilitate community events including painting pop-ups for families, jewelry-making booths at community markets, music/fashion workshops, etc.
