Mission: Chrysalis serves people navigating barriers to the workforce by offering a job-readiness program, individualized supportive services, and paid transitional employment. We empower our clients on their pathway to stability, security, and fulfillment in their work and lives.-Volunteer roles:Donation Sorting and Organizing- Help create a welcoming experience for those in need by sorting, organizing, and preparing donated items for display within our centers.-This is an in-person ONLY volunteer opportunity! Gain valuable experience and skills, connect with like minded people who care about making a positive impact in the community.Qualifications & Requirements:Highly motivated by Chrysalis’ mission and desire to improve social and economicfabric of our communityAvailability during our operating hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (PT)Volunteer opportunities are regular and ongoing (not one-time or event-based)Proficient computer skills & comfortability with Google Drive and OutlookMinimum six-month commitmentAbility to volunteer every other week for an hour at a minimum (weekly is also an option)Ability to report to a Chrysalis center18 years or olderAdherence to Chrysalis policies, procedures, and processesChrysalis Class Schedule:Monday- Thursday from 8:00AM to 12:00PM and 1:00PM to 4:00PMIf you're ready to share your skills, make a meaningful difference, and help others succeed, we’d love to have you on our team!Watch our video to learn more: Stephanie: 2023 John Dillon Award Recipient
