Allelon Hospice is seeking volunteers to honor and support our veteran hospice patients. As a veteran volunteer, you can provide the practical and emotional support to our patients and their families when they need it the most.Where:Visits can take place in Patient's homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, memory care units, group homes and hospitals.How:Volunteers will be provided with ongoing one-on-one staff support throughout their service with us, and will receive training on how to service Veterans and their families.Our volunteers must complete an application, interview, background checks, hospice orientation, drug and TB test.Feel free to call us at 719-242-0043 to discuss this opportunity to enlist your services to aid in supporting a veteran hospice patient.Thank you for considering this enriching and unique volunteer opportunity.
