We strive to be the premier leadership experience for girls in the USA.Girl Scouts of Wisconsin - Badgerland Council & Community PartnersThe Girl Scouts of Wisconsin - Badgerland Council and community-based youth-serving organizations and schools are coming together in partnership to develop after-school troop experiences that are site-based. The convenience of these partnership allows troop meetings to take place during the after-school hours and at the partner site. The goal of these partnerships is to bring the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to the girls in our communities every week while supporting these youth-serving organizations.Position SummaryThe Community Partnership Troop Co-Leader is excited to work in the community as a troop leader. They have the enthusiasm and ability to generate girls’ interests and curiosities about the ways that they can discover themselves, connect with others and take action to make the world a better place through Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE). The nature of this position requires the individual to provide direct service to girls, helping them to develop their leadership skills on an individual and group basis.ResponsibilitiesGuide troop meetings during after school hours at a Badgerland partner siteFollow planned curriculum and detailed notes for program sessionsTeach the Girl Scout curriculumDetermine communication plan to parents and caregivers in collaboration with the partner site; deliver appropriate communicationPlan outings, activities, and events for your troop, as allowed by the specific siteSupport and encourage girls in attaining desired goal
