St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store General volunteerGeneral store processing of merchandise from delivery to sale. A variety of opportunities to work with public or behind the scenes such as:" Process merchandise from drop off to point of sale." Sorting, cleaning and pricing of donations" Cashier (training provided)" Cleaning and Organizing of the store" Testing electronics" Assisting with donations drop-off (clement weather only)" Data entryQualifications: Stand, walk, sit, lift 10 lbs., and push carts. Opportunities for mobility challenged individuals.Volunteer Hours available any time between: Monday -Saturday 8 am-4 pm with flexible hours. Store hours Monday - Saturday 10 am-4 pm.St. Vincent de Paul gives back to the community and helps those in need.

RSVP volunteers choose when, where and how long they would like to serve at schools, day care centers, police departments, hospitals and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental insurance while they serve. There is a pre-service orientation, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
