Objective: To assist in providing fun and engaging learning experiences about SheboyganCounty history to various aged students.Potential Tasks:Assist Sheboygan County Museum staff and interact with children during Education ProgramsLead small groups and encourage participation in Hands-On History activitiesGuide students through Gallery ExperiencesUtilize the Education Collection, Museum exhibits, and historic buildings in the presentation of Sheboygan County history to studentsQualifications:Enthusiasm for working with children and educationWillingness to learn about Sheboygan County history and ability to share knowledge while facilitating Education Program activitiesInterest in assisting with one or more of the Education Programs offered by the MuseumStrong communication and collaboration skillsOrientation required; potential for ongoing training opportunitiesConsistent availability on weekday mornings and/or afternoons
About SHEBOYGAN COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
For over 100 years, Sheboygan County Museum has been preserving the history of Sheboygan County, and sharing that history with the community through programming and education. As a small organization, volunteers help the Museum grow the scope of their mission and reach thousands of students and members of our community each year.
