About YMCA Supportive Housing Campus
Our belief that everyone is worthy to live a life of meaning guides everything we do; YOU make a difference in the lives of so many by supporting us in this important work!We provide a place to call home for 140 men and women who are transitioning out of homelessness and into a life of safety and stability. When asking our residents what home at the YSHC means to them, this is what they shared..."A place that I am safe and comfortable. The YSHC provides that for me. No one being able to just walk in makes me feel safe from the demons in my past. Controlling my own heat and air is very comforting." - Mary, a resident of the YSHC"A home to me means that it’s the most peaceful and safe place to live. It is something I have lost before because of the choices I made. I believe that’s why I have an appreciation for the home I have at the YSHC. I would also like to say thank you to all the staff and volunteers. It means a great deal that people care and want you to succeed. I can say I have a home and a village all under the same roof." - Kent, a resident of the YSHCVolunteers are essential to ensuring that we are able to carry out our mission to provide hope, dignity and support to those who call the YMCA Supportive Housing Campus their home. With so many different ways to volunteer... you can start making a difference today!
