About Beacon of Hope Hospice
Hospice volunteers play a crucial role by providing a wide variety of practical and emotional assistance. Their tasks include reading/playing games with patient, running errands for patient, preparing light meals, visiting with the patient to them family members a break, being a friend. Hospice volunteers may also assist the hospice staff with making flower arrangements in vases for patients, make patients packets, or assist with clerical office support. Hours can range from once a month to once a week or anything in between. Giving your time provides a priceless since of acceptance and love for patients.
