Family Opportunity: Soap Recycling

Description: At this event you will help to prepare soap donated by hotels for recycling and distribution to underprivileged families and schools in disadvantaged communities around the world, particularly in Asia. Your help in the recycling of soaps from hotels in Hong Kong also promotes environmental protection. Volunteers will help with sorting, carving and recycling soap. Guidance will be given by Soap Cycling staff.
All volunteers must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. Friends or family members who wish to join are warmly welcome—please ensure that each person registers and signs up separately.
Volunteers should be at least 12 years of age to attend this activity without a parent or guardian. Volunteers want to bring their children who age over 7, please create children's account and sign them up along with your registration or send us an email to HOHK@handsonhongkong.org to register.
The numbers for this activity are strictly limited so please note that it will not be possible for any non-registered family members or friends to join you.​
Please note that Soap Cycling does not accept kids younger than 7 years-old.
Sessions will be canceled in the short time due to availability of the schedule as well as the sign up numbers (Min 5).

Remarks:​
Soap Cycling venue in Tsuen Wan is near Exit B of Tai Wo Hau MTR station.
Since the main entrances of our building are closed on Sundays, and please enter the building through the side gate on Tsuen Wing Street, which is several steps from the main entrance.
