A Friendly Volunteer visit makes a difference- VITAS Healthcare- Cedar Hill, MO 63016

Volunteers are critically important for visiting patients at the end of life that do not have family or friends that regularly visit. VITAS Healthcare is looking for Patient Volunteers to visit patients on hospice residing in nursing homes located in Cedar Hill, MO 63016. This includes Arbor View Nursing and Rehab Center located at 6400 The Cedars Ct., Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Patient Care Volunteers offer companionship, play music and games, read to patients and help in other meaningful ways.Volunteers visit VITAS patients to provide specific, non- medical care through socialization and friendly visits. VITAS Healthcare provides comprehensive training and orientation for hospice volunteering on communication skills, family dynamics and how to make a positive difference for patients and their caregivers.
