Provide a foster home for one of our dogs waiting to be adopted. This requires general care of the dog, working to assess his/her behaviors, providing basic training skills for good dog behavior, and being able to show the dog to prospective adopters.Knowledge of Goldens and their behavioral needs, securely fenced yard, ability to communicate effectively with GRRAND representatives and prospective adopters, and ability to assess the suitability of a family to adopt the foster dog. We rescue golden retrievers, golden mixes, and other needy dogs and provide both medical care and if needed behavioral training prior to placing them in screened adoptive homes. We have a presence in the greater areas of Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati, and Dayton.
