Transport dogs in your car from shelters to kennels, from foster homes to the vet, and from the kennels to the vet.For transportation, when an opportunity presents, the coordinator will send out a notification asking for volunteers and if you are free you can pick it up. You will be required to transport the dog to vet care, pick up from a shelter, etc.The only requirement is that you have a built in barrier in your vehicle between the back and the front or you have sufficient room to transport the dog in a crate. We ask of this in order to prevent the dog from bolting during transportation.A flexible schedule is important and the willingness to travel is also important. Volunteer should have good dog management skills and be able to handle unfamiliar dogs. Must be able to provide good communication to the Intake Volunteer.
