RMHC of the Bluegrass(r) provides housing for families of ill or injured children in a communal living setting. It is critical to maintain a safe and sanitary environment in order to protect the health of Families, Employees, Volunteers, Visitors or Others to help flatten the community spread of COVID-19 in Fayette County and beyond. All volunteers at RMHC must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and must also receive a flu shot during flu season. In addition, masks must be worn on RMHC property.Volunteers needed in several capacities: House volunteers do a variety of jobs from answering the phone to housework; Van Drivers transport our guests to local hospitals; many groups set up special work days to help with yard work and cleaning projects; groups also volunteer to cook dinner for our families.
