Volunteer Fair Trade Retail Position

One World Goods currently is seeking volunteers to staff the sales floor. Volunteer shifts are scheduled twice monthly, 3-4 hours in length, and require cash handling and exceptional customer service. We ask that volunteers commit to a year after training, but we provide flexible scheduling to accommodate travel and family responsibilities.
One World Goods is a not-for-profit Fair Trade gift shop, selling handicrafts produced by artisans in developing countries around the world and sharing their stories. Our success depends on the commitment, enthusiasm, and dedicated efforts of our volunteers. One World Goods moved from Fairport, NY to Pittsford Plaza in 1997. Currently the store offers artisan-made products from over 35 countries and operates with over 45 active volunteers.
