Volunteer Opportunity: Money Management Program
A rewarding volunteer opportunity is available for residents of Erie, Niagara, Allegany, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Wyoming Counties.
The Center for Elder Law & Justice (CELJ) is growing its Money Management Program and seeking volunteers to support older adults in their communities. Volunteers are paired with seniors who need help with budgeting, bill paying, debt management, scam prevention, and financial wellness.
Volunteer Role
Volunteers meet with their assigned client about once a month in the client’s home to review mail, bills, and budgeting concerns. They also help connect clients with community resources that support financial stability and independence.
This assistance can be the difference that allows an older adult to remain safely in their home and continue living independently with dignity.
