Monroe Community Hospital needs YOU to help transport residents in wheelchairs to on-site activities, events, and programs! We are seeking to build a transport team of committed volunteers who have weekday availability, the desire to help others, and enjoy meeting new people. By making it possible for residents to participate and engage, Transport volunteers have a tremendous, positive impact! Plus it's also a great way to "get your steps in" throughout our beautiful facility! Help is most needed on Wednesdays from 1:30 - 3 pm, but other days and times are available too.
About Monroe Community Hospital
Monroe Community Hospital is a fully certified residential health care facility, providing long-term care for individuals with complex health conditions requiring higher levels of medical and nursing care. Approximately one quarter of our residents are under the age of 65. We are proudly owned and operated by Monroe County.
