Park Activities Support Volunteer

Are you interested in doing something different, but have limited time? Volunteering at Janes Island might be just what you are looking for. We have lots of opportunities, such as sharing tales of nature and local history, helping with kids' crafts, assisting with paddle tours, helping maintain the park and many other things. In fact, if you have a particular skill or interest, we may well have a use for your talents. Ideal volunteers should be flexible, patient and cheerful, service-oriented, and committed to helping guests have the best possible experience. You will need to wear clothing appropriate to the weather, and comfortable/sturdy shoes or boots. Volunteers who desire to work directly with children will be required to obtain a background check.
