Circle of Care Booths

We’re looking for people to help on the 3rd Sundays at our Community of Care booths. This isn’t a spot for someone who just needs community service hours, we’re looking for people with a genuine heart for helping others. People who show up because they care, because they want to be present, and because they believe in strengthening our community through compassion and connection.
The Circle of Care, a resident‑led initiative designed to strengthen connection, promote wellbeing, and ensure that individuals and families in our community are not overlooked. The model is simple yet powerful: residents commit to checking in with at least three people each month, creating small circles of support that help identify needs early and foster a culture of care.
You would be speaking with people at the event, which will also be offering free meals, to let them know about the Circle of Care and ask them to sign up. This will be explained much better when you sign up to help.
The reason we’re asking for people who genuinely want to help the community, not just fulfill community service hours, is because the long‑term goal of this program is to create a tipping point. A tipping point is that moment when a series of small, consistent actions becomes strong enough to spark a larger, city‑wide change. For us, that moment will come when enough people are checking in on one another that the entire city feels more connected, more supported, and more stable. Every partner, every caller, every church, and every volunteer brings us closer to that reality.
This is more than a volunteer position. It’s the work of changing lives, strengthening neighborhoods, and helping Richmond become a place where no one feels alone. I hope you will join us..
Although our office is located at 3001 Meadowbridge
