Brief Organizational Description:
St. James's Children's Center is celebrating 40 Years of Early Childhood Impact with a free family fun event at Dorey Park! Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
Our Photographer(s) for the Day will capture children and adults’ enjoyment as they tour the Enchanted Bookmobile, play in never ending streams of bubbles, make crafts and celebrate fall! You will need to provide your own photographic equipment or phone and “eye for a great shot.”
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on October 17, our volunteer photographer(s) will become part of our celebration and take joyous pictures of children, families, and community partners. Capture the fun and peoples’ personalities!
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
Experience as photographer and in putting people at ease.
Time Commitment:
10:00 am to 2:00 pm on October 17, 2026
Other Information (if applicable):
This is a great opportunity for one or two outgoing individuals who enjoy children and families. Wear comfortable clothes and come ready to record happy children and families.
Ample free parking at Dorey Park.
The event will take place in and around the children's playground and pavilions, just before Dorey Park Lake.

Minimum age: 18.
