Make Breakfast and Snack/Activity Bags

Housing Families First empowers families facing homelessness to build a brighter future by providing compassionate support and pathways to home.
Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
Snack/activity and breakfast bag volunteer- assemble snack/activity and breakfast bags for the children of Hilliard House.
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Snack/Activity Bags
Build a gallon sized ziplock bag filled with at least 4 prepackaged, individually-wrapped snack items such as:
Juice box or Water
Chips/Cookies
Cereal bars/ granola bars
Fruit snacks
Fruit/vegetable squeeze pouches
Pretzels/Crackers
Activities can be:
Small sheet of stickers
Small coloring book w/crayons
Include a hand-written note, card, or picture
Breakfast Bags
Build a gallon sized ziplock bag filled with at least 4 prepackaged, individually-wrapped breakfast items such as:
Milk
Cereal
Cereal bars/ granola bars
Fruit/vegetable squeeze pouches
Optional: Include a hand-written note, card, or picture
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
Entry level volunteer project
Time Commitment:
For purposes of tracking volunteer hours, 10 completed bags are counted as two hours per donor
Other Information (if applicable):
Food items must be prepackaged and individually wrapped
This is an at-home volunteering project, drop off at HFF campus between 9:00am and 4:00pm M-F
