Theater Volunteer 26-27

Richmond Ballet awakens, uplifts, and unites human spirits through the power of dance. Dedicated to the evolution of ballet as a versatile language of movement that crosses national and cultural boundaries, we seek to draw an ever broader range of artists, students, and audiences to experience the magic of dance through inspiring performances, outstanding training, and meaningful community engagement.
Our organization welcomes interested, enthusiastic volunteers to give their time and assistance to support the Moving Art productions performed at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Our volunteer team is a friendly and fun group and is an integral part of our evenings’ success.
As a theater volunteer, your primary role will be to help create an outstanding experience for all patrons. Specific duties include:
Welcoming and interacting with our patrons,
Handling ticket processing, program distribution, and seating
Helping to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment,
Willingness to serve as needed, and
Successfully representing Richmond Ballet.
Successful volunteers will be expected to:
Follow dress code in any combination of black and white, business casual and neat,
Arrive on time, 60-90 minutes before curtain,
Stand during most of your 3-4 hours shift,
Stay for the duration of the performance.

Minimum age: 18.
