Senior Center Volunteer

Our Senior Center provides a safe, welcoming environment where adults and seniors can connect through programs, activities, and community events. We are seeking friendly, dependable volunteers to support our Senior Center Manager and help create a positive experience for everyone who visits.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
-Welcome and greet community members, including participants in the Senior Nutrition Program.
-Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and directing visitors to available programs and resources.
-Answer incoming phone calls and take accurate messages.
-Assist with general clerical and administrative tasks.
-Help with event setup, cleanup, and day-of event support.
-Support community events and special activities throughout the year.
-Provide additional assistance to Senior Center staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, organized, and willing to work as part of a team.
Ability to perform light lifting and assist with setting up tables, chairs, and event materials.
Previous volunteer or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
As FSA provides a safe environment for its participants, staff and volunteers all volunteers are required to complete and pass a live scan background check.
