Community Center Volunteer

Our Community Center provides a safe, welcoming environment where children, families, adults, and seniors can connect through programs, activities, and community events. We are seeking friendly, dependable volunteers to support our Community Center Manager and help create a positive experience for everyone who visits.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet community members, including participants in the Senior Nutrition Program.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and directing visitors to available programs and resources.
- Answer incoming phone calls and take accurate messages.
- Assist with general clerical and administrative tasks.
-Help with event setup, cleanup, and day-of event support.
-Assist with Commodity Distribution and the Senior Meal Program.
-Support community events and special activities throughout the year.
Provide additional assistance to Community Center staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude. Reliable, organized, and willing to work as part of a team. Ability to perform light lifting and assist with setting up tables, chairs, and event materials.
-FSA provides a safe environment for its participants, staff and volunteers; all volunteers are required to complete and pass a Live Scan background check.
