Here's a wonderful opportunity to help out in the community! We provide a safe, welcoming space for seniors to socialize and connect through our congregate meal programs. Or lend a hand in preparing meals for our home delivery program, ensuring our homebound seniors still receive nutritious meals.Assist FSA staff with meal preparation and portioning food. Use protective barriers including gloves, apron and proper hair covering. Adhere to all food safety guidelines. Assist with wrapping, date-labeling, storing and rotating food items. Perform general cleaning of counters and equipment in the kitchen area. Assist with receiving, storage and inventory of food and supplies. Must have or obtain a Food Handler’s card within 2 weeks (through FSA). Must have good communication skills and the ability to follow directions. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift, carry, push or pull weights up to 15-20 lbs. Maintain good personal hygiene.Private Group Details:Group Size Range: 1 - 5Event can be held at organization location(s)No Donation
