Dental, RDAEF, RDA, DA & predental student volunteers needed to assist dental professionals (General Dentists, Specialists & RDHs) to provide free dental care to low-income, uninsured or underinsured patients living in Riverside County. Other tasks include sterilization, operatory step-up & break down, equipment maintenance, restocking & inventory, etc...DAs with x-ray certificates will take digital intraoral, panoramic x-rays & CBCTs as diagnosed per dental providers. DAs assist chairside, setup & breakdown operatories, sterilize instruments, etc... per certificates &/or licenses.This is a great opportunity for pre-dental, hygiene & dental students to experience dentistry chairside as "DAs" dipping their fingers into the dental pool. Back office duties assigned with appropriate training & supervision within legal parameters.International dentists can keep their fingers wet in dentistry as DAs while pursuing licensure here.Inquiries welcome.

Smile Unto Him dental clinic in Riverside opened September 2018. Qualified patients are adult residents of Riverside County who are low-income, uninsured or underinsured with dental benefits. Priority is given to seniors & veterans. After eligibility verification, new patients are scheduled for exam & x-rays to diagnose their treatment plans to proceed with dental care at future appointments. Volunteer general dentists as well as dental specialists, hygienists & assistants work with dental, hygiene, assisting & pre-dental student volunteers treating patients. A core team of employees maintain continuity of care. Donations & grants fund expenses such as equipment, instruments, supplies, rent & utilities.
