The Book Nook is a used book sale held within the library. It is staffed entirely by volunteers. The income generated from the sale of books is used to support library programs and services. The Book Nook Manager is a volunteer position. This person manages incoming donations as well as the workroom. He/she ensures that the Book Nook is well maintained. The manager also trains, schedules volunteers and supervises as needed. He gives the board of directors updates about the book nook at their monthly meetings.QualificationsSelf-motivated, capable of working autonomouslyEnjoy working with the general publicInterest in booksAbility to use a computerAbility to stand for a few hours and to lift up to 25 lb. regularlyKnowledge of alphabetical orderUnderstanding of difference between fiction and nonfiction
