Volunteer Drivers needed to deliver meals

Looking for a meaningful and rewarding volunteer opportunity in your community? Prescott Meals on Wheels is currently seeking volunteer drivers to deliver meals, smiles and complete wellness checks to our homebound clients in Prescott and Prescott Valley. Our regular drivers deliver one day per week Monday through Friday. The time commitment is roughly 3 hours from 10:00 am- 1:00 pm. Routes start and end at our office in the The Center on Rosser St. in Prescott. We also need drivers with flexible schedules who can substitute for regular drivers. All drivers are required to have a Finger Print Clearance Card and pass a background check.Volunteer drivers will receive mileage reimbursement and a lunch on the day they volunteer.Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Adam Young at:(928) 445-7630 x 600 or email at adampmow@gmail.com

Our services are more than a meal! Prescott Meals on Wheels provides nutritional meals to the elderly and/or disabled on a daily basis enabling them to live independently with safety and dignity in the Prescott and Prescott Valley areas. We serve the social needs of our clients through interaction with our drivers in the client’s home, and by providing a meal in the congenial atmosphere of our dining room.Along with meal delivery, we provide a wellness check. We network with other organizations to refer clients to them who may need physical or mental health services
