AZPM Hosts PBS KIDS DAY at the Childrens Museum Tucson Nov. 8

We are seeking volunteers to participate in our 2nd Annual PBS Kids Day event:Date: Saturday, November 8th, 2025Shift 1: 7:30am-10:15am (this will include set up and lifting and walking) 4 volunteers (at AZPM table)Shift 2: 8:30am-10:15am (Volunteer need: 9 in Museum rooms)Shift 3: 10:00am-2:00pm (and tear down) (4 at AZPM Table, 9 in museum rooms)Scope of work:Help set up event and decorate areas with PBS KIDS characters (earlier AM Shift)During the event, volunteers in each room/area will promote PBS KIDS programs and characters, provide ”stamps” for passports for the event (once all stamps are collected children can collect a prize) and distribute PBS KIDS materials at the PBS KIDS TableShift 3 will also help take decorations off the walls and load up the vanPlease note: set up and tear down are not extremely physically strenuous, but there is bending and some carryingMost needs are not exclusively seated opportunities.We are also seeking volunteers to be in Costume over various shifts in 15-20 minute intervals in costume – as well as a need for costume wranglers.
