VITA is a community volunteer program, sponsored by the IRS, to ensure that all people can have their taxes prepared by qualified preparers for free. All necessary training and certification is offered, at no charge, via the IRS through our United Way VITA program. Our program focuses on the elderly and low to moderate income taxpayer who may by priced out of these opportunities otherwise.
