GSP Trail work/Trail steward

Do you hike the trails at Gambrill so often that you know them like the back of your hand? Perhaps you would be interested in helping to maintain them?Trail volunteers are essential to parks in that they assist staff with completing routine maintenance and special projects. Maintenance may include clearing or creating water bars, blazing trails, trimming brush, or any other miscellaneous repairs. Trail crews will also be responsible for providing accurate and timely trail reports detailing information about downed trees, trail conditions and other safety hazards. The park provides tools for maintenance as well as gloves for litter pick up. Trail crew members should wear appropriate footwear, clothing and gear.
