GoochlandCares - Food Pantry Couriers Needed 2026

MISSION: To provide basic human services and health care to our Goochland neighbors in need.
OPPORTUNITY: GoochlandCares is seeking volunteer couriers to pick up donations in Goochland and Short Pump for their food pantry program.
REQUIREMENTS: A valid driver's license is required. Volunteers who are 21+ years old can use a GoochlandCares vehicle to pick up donations, individuals who are under the age of 21 or volunteering for court-mandated hours would need to use their own vehicle, and anyone under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult.
TIME COMMITMENT: Shifts last approximately two hours and are currently available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
ONBOARDING: Anyone interested must complete a Volunteer Application and attend Volunteer Orientation on either the first Tuesday (1-2 p.m.) or third Tuesday (5-6 p.m.) of the month.
