Experience Corps reading program (with ACHIEVE Pinal) is a senior led and volunteer-based program operating all throughout elementary schools in Pinal County, AZ. About Achieve Pinal Experience Corps
Achieve Pinal Experience Corps (APEC) an affiliate of AARP Foundation is an intergenerational, evidence-based literacy program designed to help students become proficient readers by the end of third grade. Using Reading A-Z level books our trained volunteers work one on one with students on building fluency, accuracy, and comprehension skills two days a week for the entire school year.
