Reading Coaches Needed!

No experience needed. All training, support and materials provided.Volunteers are all 45 and older for this intergenerational tutoring programWe work with schools to see their student's needs. We then pair volunteers (like yourself!) to become their reading coach/tutor. You will work one on one with students in a separate, designated area in the school for tutoring.We ask volunteers to commit to a schedule. It will be two days a week and up to 4 hours per week. Schedule options available by school. About Achieve Pinal Experience Corps
Achieve Pinal Experience Corps (APEC) an affiliate of AARP Foundation is an intergenerational, evidence-based literacy program designed to help students become proficient readers by the end of third grade. Using Reading A-Z level books our trained volunteers work one on one with students on building fluency, accuracy, and comprehension skills two days a week for the entire school year.
