AmeriCorps NCCC is a full-time, limited-term service program for young adults. During an 11-month term as a FEMA Corps Team Leader, you can expect toLead a team of 8-12 other young adultsTravel the country, all expenses paidComplete 3-6 different service projects with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). FEMA Corps service projects focus on disaster mitigation, planning, preparedness, and response.
