About this opportunity
Help SARC answer our 24-hour crisis hotline and/or accompany survivors to area hospitals, law enforcement agencies, and court proceedings. Provide crisis intervention, support, and information to survivors of sexual assault.
Advocates must attend a 40-hour Texas OAG certified training to become advocates.
About Mary Isaak Center / COTS
Multi-service single and family shelter and assistance center opened November 2004. Programs leading to independent living. Provides showers, laundry, message center, telephone, mail, locker services and workshops. Staff provides assistance with employment referrals, housing referrals, counseling, assistance with chemical dependency and referrals for health care.
