"Interpretation" is an approach to communication on public lands through which skilled communicators foster and support emotional connections between natural and cultural resources and the hearts and minds of people.Programming volunteers at Birch Creek add value to the visitor experience by supporting or providing programming, which could be in the form of interpretation, environmental education, outdoor education, recreation, fitness or special events.
