ACS EMPOWER Volunteer

The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge program provides a free home away from home for cancer patients and their caregivers. More than just a roof over their heads, it is a nurturing community that helps patients access the care they need. The Nashville Hope Lodge is 1 of 31 lodges that offer a supportive, homelike environment where guests can share a meal, join in evening activities, or unwind in their own private room.
Through ACS EMPOWER, a program designed to enhance the guest experience at Hope Lodge by hosting and providing access to activities which touch one of four main focus areas: physical activity, social connection, nutrition, and stress management, we are looking for volunteers to come and highlight each of the areas of focus with games, food, crafts, and other opportunities for our guests and caregivers to spend some time with and connect to others.

Museum Visits
Farmer's Market visit
Art therapy
Song Writer nights
