Hospice Volunteers Needed!

We are currently serving all over Denton, Collin and Cook County. We can accommodate any volunteer living in the area. No skills necessary, we provide training.Trio hospice is looking for great volunteers to add to our dedicated team to support the needs of our staff, our patients and their loved ones. We offer patient/family volunteering, special event volunteering in our community, administrative/office support and remote volunteering.Whether you are looking for ways to give back to your community or wanting to step into healthcare and see if you are interested in it as a career choice, we are interested in hearing from you.As a hospice volunteer you will have the opportunity to bring meaningful interaction and support by providing some or all the following:Clerical support in the officeCustomer serviceWeekly calls or tuck calls to patients and familiesInterpretingReading/writingShopping, running errandsGame and other activitiesArt therapyMusic therapyDelivering supplies to patientsVisiting with patientsHelping host community eventsLight household chores or food preparationSitting services while family run errands or other respite needsDog walkingSpecial skills (i.e. yard maintenance, musicians, beauticians, etc.)Bereavement supportRemote volunteeringPlease contact us for more information and to learn how you can become a volunteer!
