Are you a military veteran and looking to volunteer in hospice? You've come to the right place! Many of our patients have served in the armed forces so we are always looking to bring veterans on board the Enhabit Hospice Volunteer Team.We are looking for military veterans to volunteer in Direct Patient Volunteering which can include the following:Visiting with patients and exchanging life storiesReading to patientsWorking puzzlesWatching tv/moviesListening to musicDirect Patient Volunteering can take place in Assisted Living Facilities or Nursing Homes but may also include Caregiver Relief where you will stay and visit with the patient in their home while the caregiver runs errands, takes time for themselves or goes to appointments.There are many ways to get involved and we'd love to help you get started!For more information: Respond to this inquiry or Contact:Faith Oates | Volunteer Coordinatorfaith.oates@ehab.com940.334.0970www.ehab.com
