Volunteer Organizer (Unpaid) Commitment: 10–15 hours per week (flexible) Location: Remote, focused on North CarolinaAbout PEPAC The People’s Empowerment PAC (PEPAC) is a Minority-led 501(c)(4) SuperPAC dedicated to building independent political and economic power for Black and Brown Communities. We drive grassroots engagement, candidate empowerment, and issue advocacy to ensure every voice is heard in our democracy.Position OverviewAs a Volunteer Organizer, you’ll own the full cycle of volunteer recruitment, training, and mobilization to support PEPAC’s membership drives, community events, and advocacy campaigns across North Carolina. This is a hands-on, unpaid role requiring 10–15 hours per week.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruit: Identify and engage potential volunteers through outreach campaigns, social media, and partnerships with local groups.Train: Develop and deliver brief virtual orientations and toolkits so volunteers can confidently canvass, host phone banks, or lead presentations.Mobilize: Coordinate schedules, materials, and logistics for both virtual and in-person activities.Support & Supervise: Serve as the primary point of contact—answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and keep volunteers motivated.Database Management: Maintain up-to-date volunteer records in our CRM and track engagement metrics.Reporting: Compile weekly summaries of volunteer recruitment numbers, event turnout, and feedback to inform strategy.Who You ArePassionate believer in political and economic empowerment for marginalized Communities.Self-starter with proven organizational and project-management skills.Strong communicator—comfortable speaking with diverse audiences by phone, email, or in person.Tech-savvy: experience with Google Workspace, basic CRMs (e.g., NationBuilder, Action Network),
