We are actively seeking volunteer Puppy Raisers to care for our adorable, purpose-bred dogs during the first eighteen months of their lives. Raisers teach puppies house manners and basic obedience while socializing them to the everyday world, thus laying the foundation for success in guide dog training. Guiding Eyes provides extensive support including weekly obedience classes, free veterinary care and local assistance. Through this unwavering support and dedication, Guiding Eyes has graduated more than 10,000 guide dog teams. We believe in the powerful, meaningful change that our beautiful dogs bring to the lives of people facing the daily challenges that blindness and vision loss present.As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we provide all services completely free of charge to people who are blind or with vision loss.
