Details:Love golf? Use your swing to make a difference. The Alzheimer’s Association is looking for passionate golfers to serve as Volunteer Leaders for Do What You Love to End ALZ™, our signature fundraising campaign that empowers people to turn their favorite activities into powerful tools for change.As a Golf Volunteer Leader, you’ll rally your golf community to start fundraising events and support the mission to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.Whether you’re a club member, tournament organizer, or weekend golfer, this is your chance to lead with purpose and grow the movement through the game you love.Your Role Will Include:Recruiting golfers, golf clubs, and leagues to start fundraising eventsCoaching participants on how to plan, promote, and fundraise for their tournamentsHosting recruitment events or golf outings to engage new supportersConnecting with local golf courses, pro shops, and equipment brands for sponsorshipsTabling at tournaments, giving presentations, and attending golf expos or networking eventsSending follow-ups, writing thank-you notes, and celebrating fundraising milestonesRepresenting the Alzheimer’s Association mission with passion and professionalismWe’ll provide all the training and resources you need—you bring your love for golf and your drive to make a difference.Let’s tee up a future without Alzheimer’s.Contact your local staff partner, Cecile, at cebrown@alz.org, or visit alz.org/dowhatyoulove to learn more and get involved.
