Care for cats in our clinic environment by feeding and cleaning post-surgery cats, or preparing cats for surgery by removing food and supplying clean bedding and a gentle voice. Cats are held in humane traps before and after spay/neuter surgery. In all cases, we monitor the health and condition of the cats. This position is critical to spotting cats who may need further medical assistance. Work as part of a team striving to improve the life of community cats and find homes for adoptable cats. Training is provided.1 shift available:Times are flexible between 7:30-8:30 start time.: 08:00 to 10:00 EST
About Forgotten Cats
By working with colony caretakers throughout Pennsylania, Delaware, and New Jersey, Forgotten Cats will trap, neuter, and return an entire colony, sterilizing and vaccinating all cats and providing medical treatment when necessary. Tame cats and kittens are transferred into our foster care system until properly socialized and eventually adopted into loving homes.Most rescue groups' efforts are limited to finding homes for homeless cats, but the number of homeless cats and kittens born each day far exceed the number of homes available. That's why Forgotten Cats works to solve the unwanted cat probelm permanently and humanely. We also offer low-cost spay/neuter services and vaccinations to the general public, and provide education about spaying and neutering and the pet overpopulation problem.
