Your going to love being a Heart to Heart Hospice Volunteer! Our volunteers make a positive difference in the lives of our patients and families. Volunteers provide companionship to patients and caregiver respite to their families.Patients receiving hospice care enjoy the friendship of volunteers. Volunteers read to patients, hold their hands, listen to music, sing, watch TV, play games, share stories, or offer caregiver respite. Your companionship ensures that patients have quality at their end of life.Orientation is short and arranged to fit your schedule. There are opportunities to interact directly with patients and families or to serve our local hospice programs by assisting staff members in an office setting. Both contribute something significant to our mission of providing compassionate care!We provide training and our volunteer coordinator helps each volunteer find the most appropriate area of service.
