Make a Lasting Keepsake for ChildrenWe are seeking volunteers who are skilled at sewing to cut teddy bear patterns out of clothing and sew the pattern together. The bears are made at your smoke-free home/location and then can be dropped off at our Oak Brook office or arrangements can be made to have the items picked up at your home/near by location. Pattern and all supplies are provided. The huggable bears that you lovingly create will be given back to the children who have lost a loved one on hospice. They will complete the bear with final stuffing and personalize the bear in remembrance of their loved one. Please join our team in making these comforting Bears for our hospice families. picked up at your home or near by location.
