Our volunteers step forward to bridge the gap between the services of the professional care team and the patient's family. About ALC Palliative and Hospice Care, Inc
ALC Palliative and Hospice is a newly licensed hospice in the state of Illinois. It is a home based program that is a division of ALC home health care. ALC meets the conditions of participation for hospice. A condition for hospice is to have volunteers available to meet with patients and their families that provide companionship, respite for families, reading, sharing stories or memories or running errands. Volunteers are also needed in the office.
