Meals on Wheels Foundation of Northern Illinois is looking for meal delivery drivers to deliver meals to home-bound seniors in the suburbs surrounding Hometown, IL. Meals are picked-up at 8925 South Kostner Avenue in Hometown between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Monday thru Friday. A normal route takes about 1-2 hours to complete. Join us for lunch!Fight against hunger by giving back to the older adults in your community! The Community Nutrition Network needs your help serving meals at our café sites as well as delivering meals to homebound adults. These opportunities can last anywhere from 1-3 hours and are located at various sites throughout the northern Illinois area.At The Community Nutrition Network, we strive to keep older adults and persons with disabilities an active part of their community by providing them with the support they need. Much more than a meal, our programs combat depression and isolation, offers companionship, and provides safety checks for homebound adults.
