When a child is in pain or feeling ill, you never hear them say "I want to go to Disney World". Rather, they say "I WANT MY MOMMY" or "I WANT MY DADDY" and we make it easier for Mommy and/or Daddy to spend time with their critically ill and/or medically fragile child by having volunteers help with some of the day-to-day tasks that rob parents of important time and energy, like housekeeping, laundry, lawn maintenance, pet care, and other little jobs.***ADDRESS LISTING IS NOT EXACT - VOLUNTEERS ARE MATCHED WITH A FAMILY AS CLOSE TO THEIR HOME AS POSSIBLE AND ARE LOCATED THROUGHOUT THE GREATER CHICAGOLAND AREA***
About Normal Moments, Inc.
Normal Moments provides housekeeping, lawn maintenance, restaurant meals, house sitting, pet care, and other services to parents of critically ill chidlren. Parents need to be able to focus on their child(ren) during these times and to have as much extraneous stress alleviated so that they can be a source of strength for their child(ren). We aim to relieve their stress through the tasks we perform and the services we offer. Serivces are currently offered only in the Chicagoland area but we hope to expand as our resources grow.
